RENTAL POLICY (Terms & Conditions)
The Hive Executive Center board and training room are available for use on a rental basis. Confirmation Bookings are not confirmed or guaranteed until an email confirmation is set to you from The Hive Executive Center. You will receive confirmation for your booking once availability is confirmed.
Availability – Bookings are available on a first come, first served bases. All guests must depart the room at or before the indicated end time stated in the confirmation. Space for the room is booked only for the times indicated. The Hive Executive Center reserves the right to cancel a booking. Should a cancellation occur by The Hive Executive Center, you will not be charged for the booking. The Hive Executive Center also reserves the right to refuse rental of the boardroom and training room at their discretion.
Payment – The Hive will invoice you for your rental and any additional items. Payment will be made to Sidney Hometown Investments by check. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 726, Sidney, Ohio 45365.
Cancellation Policy – Cancellations made up to 48 hours before booking will be charged 50% of the total rental fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking will be charged 100% of the total rental fee.
Set-Up – The executive board room can accommodate 11 individuals at the table and additional seating may be placed around the room. The training room can accommodate up to 38 individuals. Tables/chairs can be rearranged to fit your needs. The Hive will gladly arrange the rooms as you need them prior to your arrival. The Organization renting the space is responsible for set-up and clean-up. The room should be left in the same condition it was found.
Food & Beverages – Coffee and tea are complimentary for Executive Board Room rentals only (includes stir sticks, cream, and sugar). Bottled water, soda, catering, and more are available for an additional fee.
Please note: Food items and supplies are available at an additional cost. The Hive Executive Center is not responsible injury/death due to an allergic reaction. Please read labels carefully.
Equipment & Supplies – With notice, rental of the rooms includes the following: Conference room table and chairs, use of a dry erase/bulletin boards, Wi-Fi access, large screen TV with HDMI laptop connectivity, video Conferencing, interactive Smart Whiteboard & Touch Screen. Please confirm availability prior to meeting. The renter must provide all other equipment and supplies.
Access & Security – A key is needed for access to the space. A member of our team will meet you at the start of your rental time. You must vacate the space at your end time to allow for proper cleaning before the next rental. If you need special accommodations, please let us know at the time of your rental request and we will do our best to accommodate.
Cleaning – The renter agrees to assume all responsibility for the cleanliness of the space, returning it to the state in which it is found: garbage must be thrown out in the provided receptacle, all dirty dishes cleaned, and chairs returned to their proper place. The renter agrees to assume all liability regarding the actions of his/her guests. The renter and guests are asked to respect The Hive Executive Center property. Any items (food products, supplies, incidental effects) that are not directly provided by the renter are assumed to belong to The Hive Executive Center and its staff and are therefore inaccessible to the renter and guests. Renters are responsible for any damage to the facilities and/or contents and fixtures. All damage must be reported to The Hive Executive Center team immediately. Renters will be expected to cover all repairs and replacement cost of any damage to the facility itself and or the contents of such. Renters are not to leave items in the spaces. All items not belonging to The Hive Executive Center are to be removed from the building when rental is completed. The Hive Executive Center will not be responsible for lost or damaged items that are left at The Hive Executive Center building.
Parking – parking is available on the streets on the north and east side of the building. There are also public parking lots located within a block or two from the building.
Alcohol & Smoking Policy – Unless approved in advance, please do not bring alcoholic beverages onsite. Smoking is not permitted inside or immediately outside the building. This includes all tobacco, e-cigarettes & vapes etc.
Liability – It is understood, The Hive Executive Center is in no way responsible for any personal injuries, property damages, or other liabilities that may be incurred during use of their facility. Renter agrees to release indemnity and hold The Hive Executive Center and its Landlord, Sidney Hometown Investments, and any affiliates of any such damages.
Other – In all promotions and communications regarding your company’s meeting/event, The Hive Executive Center name is only to be used as the meeting location. Any request for The Hive Executive Center to support, promote, or sponsor or endorse your meeting/event must first be approved by The Hive Executive Center team. Any promotion or sales of products or services during your meeting must first be approved by The Hive Executive Center. Any invitation extended to the news media to cover your meeting/event at The Hive Executive Center must first be approved by The Hive Executive Center.
